The Wheel was est. in 1955 as The Wagon Wheel Cafe. Before becoming The Wheel, the building was the site for Rowlands College Bookstore. You can find a picture of this in the Jayhawker yearbook in 1911. (We have traced the buiding back to 1906.) "The Wheel, a tradition that just keeps rolling"
